Techwear Vest "Kimoto"

Techwear Vest "Kimoto" - Open Mesh, Curved Pockets, All Black

The Kimoto puts the structure of a utility vest over an open black mesh base. Tall chest pouches and curved lower pockets frame the torso, while a sleeveless cut leaves your layers visible underneath. A central zipper and two horizontal buckle straps bring the front together. Wear it over a washed tee for a dark, tonal silhouette, or let a contrasting layer show through the mesh.

Mesh Between the Pocket Panels

The open mesh breaks up the solid black pocket panels across the front and sides. It adds a visible change in texture without introducing another color. A simple tee or a hooded layer becomes part of the look beneath it.

Curved Storage Across the Front

Two tall flap pouches sit high on the chest, above broad lower pockets with curved outlines and zip openings. The arrangement gives the Kimoto its distinctive shape. Small essentials stay close to the body instead of disappearing into a trouser pocket.

A Zip Line Framed by Buckles

A central zipper runs down the front, with two short buckle straps crossing it horizontally. Shoulder D-rings and dark hardware continue the utility detail. The black finish keeps attention on the pocket geometry and the contrast between mesh and woven fabric.

Kimoto Mesh vs. Akashi Paneling

The Kimoto and the Techwear Vest "Akashi" both add a black utility layer to an urban outfit. The Akashi offers another pocket layout and a more solid paneled look. The Kimoto leaves more of the underlying layer visible through its mesh. The same dark starting point, with a different balance of coverage and texture.

Build Your Look Around the Vest

The Kimoto gives a plain base layer a more defined outline. Our techwear vest collection explores different pocket arrangements, lengths and front closures for a layered city wardrobe. Compare the shapes, then choose the piece that works with the proportions you already wear.
