The wash is heavy - a dark indigo base that's been faded hard through the thighs and knees until the denim reads almost grey in places. Then the holes come through - large, open rips that cut straight through the fabric and leave raw edges without fringe, without decoration, just exposed denim doing what denim does when it breaks.
